Sermorelin Care guide
Chapters My notes
Chapter P
Follow an answer back to its source
Want to check a statement more closely? Begin with the kind of question it answers: product status, care process or study result.
For product status
No sermorelin product with FDA approval is on the US market as of September 28, 2026.
The drug records, withdrawal notice and pharmacy guidance answer different questions. Read them together when checking an approval claim.
Read the product-status chapter
For a care or pharmacy check
Use the medical-board directory to reach a doctor’s state record. Use FDA’s pharmacy-search guide to reach your state’s searchable list of licensed pharmacies.
FDA publishes warning letters to businesses in a list you can search by company name.
A business may reply and FDA may update its concerns, so look for a response or a letter saying the matter is closed.
A warning letter gives FDA’s concerns when it was written; it gives no final judgement, and the absence of a letter does not show that a business passed a check.
Search FDA letters to businesses
For a study result
Check who took part, which substance was tested and what result was measured. Look for a comparison group and the time spent in the study.
The adult studies explained on the research page tested sermorelin or a similar substance with a small change in its makeup, in small groups for short periods.
A paper about a similar substance is not automatically an answer about the preparation being offered.
Read the study chapter
For a report of a problem
FDA’s MedWatch service accepts patient reports when a medicine problem is suspected.
FDA says these reports cannot show cause or tell how often a problem happens.
Open the MedWatch service
Keep this in mind
Let each source answer the question it actually covers. Keep a public record, a study result and an advertising claim separate.
